We focus our real estate transaction practice exclusively on the needs of commercial real estate clients. We provide comprehensive counsel to clients with all types of property concerns, from office building projects to retail shopping centers and to residential apartment buildings. We work with individual owners as well as investment groups or partnerships. When providing counsel on a commercial real estate transaction, we represent buyers, sellers, landlords or commercial tenants, investors, lenders or borrowers, contractors, subcontractors, developers, owners and architects.
We handle all matters related to:
- Commercial lease agreements, including the renegotiation of existing leases
- Disagreements between partners or between borrowers and banks
- The sale or purchase of real estate loans to or from banks or mortgage companies
We will negotiate the terms of the contract for purchase and sale of commercial property, and will prepare all documents necessary to complete the transaction. We will also set up all legal entities required for a real estate project or purchase. For commercial development projects, we will negotiate your contracts with contractors, subcontractors, architects, city officials and environmental agencies. When necessary, we will help you negotiate and put in place loan modifications or workouts.
